Our experience is defined, or at least reflected, through the environment in which we live. That environment is no longer as assured as it may have once been. This technological landscape that has been the culmination of every generation's ambition and effort is now viewed, by many, with unease ...as if it could, or should, be undone; by throwing some switch perhaps(?) The once felt heroism and romance for that endeavour and achievement has been overshadowed by fears and trepidations for uncertainties to come. Is the future dependant on allowing the past to dissipate into the ether, or is the human condition intrinsically symbiotic with the legacy of those past triumphs?
Regardless of popular myth, these post modern (or post human) times cannot be all things to all people, but, any of the utopian or dystopian narratives that have been envisaged could conceivably be realised as fact. Do we have a choice? ...is it about the possible, or what we would wish for?
There are always questions, rarely answers.
